Animals help people in many different contexts - guide dogs for the blind, riding for the blind and others who are disabled, hearing dogs for the deaf, assistance pets - sometimes monkeys who can do quite specific tasks - swimming with dolphins for children with learning problems, dogs who can alert people with epilepsy to a seizure, and using pets as therapy.
