This series gives upbeat interviews with disabled children in which their abilities as well as their problems are emphasised. There are excellent explanations of the disability involved as well as detailed information about treatment and aids for helping. Colour photographs and graphics as well as a good glossary and addresses for further information make this series very useful. In this particular book about Leukaemia the dangers of the disease are not minimised, but the positive side of new drugs and treatments is emphasised. Excellent!
