A warm tale of a close family on a wild and windy night. The electricity is off and mum and dad, Harry and baby Tom settle down to an evening of telling stories and making shadow pictures. Harry is fearful at bedtime; he sees shadows and everything looks strange. But when baby Tom cries, Harry goes to him and tells him stories until they both sleep. Splendidly reassuring, and the water colour pictures are outstanding.
