Mummy has planned a night out, but the little girl really doesn't want her to go. Perhaps there is a dragon under the stairs, or mum will be kidnapped by pirates, or she will run away to the circus. Mum is reassuring, and Daisy arrives to babysit. In horizontally split pictures, we see mum attending a grand ball on the top half and Daisy and the little girl playing together on the bottom half. And mum arrives home safely in the end. The idiosyncratic pictures are a delight, full of detail to pour over again and again.
