Alex may be Alexander or Alexandra. He/she is solid with a pudding-bowl haircut and a happy smile. Alex is happy because he/she has civilised parents who offer different but equal experiences. Dad's home is by the sea, where Alex leads an outdoor life, while mum's flat is in the city. Alex has everything he/she needs in both places, but most of all, the love of both parents is paramount. While not every child who has two homes will be so lucky materially as Alex, the point is that every child can have their parents' love, given good will on both sides.
