A small rabbit is lost in a field of snow and is found by the children and Ben, their dog. When they bring the rabbit home, Ben adopts it. They become best friends, and the children love them both. When Ben dies, the children and Zoe the rabbit are all very sad. But one day there is a new puppy, and Zoe and the children learn to love Little Ben as they had Ben. 'They are our dog and our rabbit.
