Chloe is very fond of her Uncle Bobby. They are such good friends and enjoy doing interesting things together, particularly flying kites. When Uncle Bobby announces that he and his best friend, Jamie, are to get married, Chloe is perplexed. Why do they need to get married? She likes things just the way they are, and if they marry, Uncle Bobby won't have so much time to spend with her. Mum says to talk with Uncle Bobby about this problem, and so she does. He is very reassuring that they will have time together: 'You'll always be my Sweet Pea.' he says. By the time Bobby and Jamie have taken her to the ballet, and after to share milkshakes, gone sailing and swimming, and had a night session around a campfire enjoying singing and toasting marshmallows, Chloe is convinced that having two uncles is even better than one. We see the wedding preparations and the wedding itself with Chloe as bridesmaid, and then the whole family dance to a band until the moon comes up. Delightful story that accepts completely the fact that these are two men getting married and that the family is extremely happy in their happiness.
