While this book is not about racism as such, it is about the positive side of having many different people-colours and how this should make us happy in our diversity. In wonderfully warm and tender pictures of many, many children and their families, doing happy things together, we learn something about skin itself too: 'It keeps the outsides out and your insides in.'
