When Harry’s dad gets in an angry rush because he’s late, it is Harry who helps him to calm down, and when sister Susie has a tantrum because she can’t have a biscuit, Harry again manages to distract her. Harry also stops an argument on the school playground that is threatening to become a battle and helps his friend Lenny in class when he is getting very angry about not being able to do a maths problem. Harry is almost too good to be true, until… Mum says it’s bedtime and Harry is playing a game on his tablet that he wants to finish. ‘It’s not fair’, he shouts, and stomps off. Then his family turn the table on him and suggest the devices he’s been using all day in order to calm others down. He manages to laugh at this and admit that he was wrong – and then there’s a nice little twist at the end! Gordon’s comic-style pictures are always great fun, and children will love Harry’s come-uppance.
