Using colours and shapes in an explanation of how the human races can come to look at each other is an exceptional device. Reds like themselves in every way their red hats, their special songs, their red apples, but when some Yellows come along, they, also, like their own ways of doing things. The same happens with the Blues, and soon they are all disliking each other, demanding their own space and not wanting to have anything to do with each other. Even the air they breathe is not to be used by the other colours. They decide to make a set of rules that they are all to abide by, and for a bit, this makes things easier. Then other ‘differents’ begin to arrive - a green one, a purple one, an orange one and a pink one even a brilliant, multi-coloured one in a multi-coloured car! As these new ‘differents’ are all friendly to the existing occupants, the barriers are soon broken down and everyone is talking to everyone else. ‘Being different is the best think ever!’ Great for schools, and the brilliant colours will strongly appeal to kids of many ages.
