Sean and his younger sister Laura are very close, and when the family moves to the south coast where their parents plan to open a restaurant, Sean discovers his sister is being bullied at school. Their parents are too busy and worried to listen, but during a storm of epic proportions, Sean saves his sister's life, and the family gets things into perspective again. Excellent black and white illustrations help make this short novel a good read, and the descriptions of the hurricane are hair-raising. Good on the possible dire consequences if bullying is not addressed.
