In cheerful photographs and large print, we learn the basics about what a hospital is and what it is like being in one. Sometimes our stay will be short, but sometimes we will have to stay in and be looked after; sometimes there will be an operation and at other times we will just go to visit someone. There is a short section on how to behave in hospital - do's and don'ts - and a picture glossary to explain some of the more difficult words. This is a good basic book on what to expect in hospital, although I found the constant smiles and happy faces possibly a tad misleading.
