The format of this book is one of its strengths. Almost square, with a solid feel, it fits nicely in the hand. Sections on: the body, a head to foot scan, how a baby is born, the senses, the systems, and keeping fit. All are full of facts, both simple and more intricate, colour diagrams and illustrations. An excellent basic introduction.
