Small (Start Reading: Just Like You) ISBN: 9780750260152

In this cheerful story, the little boy hardly seems to have a disability, but takes for granted that he is 'small' and always will be. No specific condition is mentioned, but the fact that he is aware that all his family and friends, including his twin brother, are much taller than he is makes it clear that he has some form of dwarfism. The happy, colourful illustrations show us the little boy having lots of lovely fun with his family, and at the end, the problem of his smallness is solved by his riding on dad's shoulders to watch the parade. This being a book for beginning readers, there are two pages of advice to parents on using the book.
