Little Princess - I Want My Potty ISBN: 9780007236213

It's the Little Princess herself who decides that 'Nappies are yuuech!'. When the Queen announces, 'The potty's the place', the Little Princess is not best pleased with the idea, but she soon comes round and finds all sorts of unusual uses for said potty - including the one it is intended for. Everyone is very pleased with her efforts, and when, one day, she is playing at the top of the castle and the urge comes on, the entire staff from her parents, the cook and the gardener, to the General and the Admiral look for the missing potty. When they find it and rush it upstairs, they are just 'a little too late'. The Princess, looking sheepish, is found in the midst of a puddle. This is laugh-out-loud funny and will be for children as well as adults. The pictures tell the story quite as much as the text, and it will be a long time before this reviewer forgets the image of the Little Princess showing her proudly produced poo to the courtiers. Little ones learning to use their own potties will find solace in the fact that even princesses make the odd mistake.
