In a lovely, simple set of pictures and minimal but conversational text, we see a small boy off to nursery and enjoying a day full of activity. He and his friends paint, use playdough, play with water and with the dress-up box, sing, have a snack, hear a story and play outside. A child in a wheelchair joins in the fun, and the little boy is more than ready to go back the next day. One of the strengths (literally) of the book is the fact that the pages are laminated and will withstand lots of hard wear. A really good choice both for nursery schools and for home preparation.
