Nellie has such a pretty nose that she wins competitions. She is also given a part as an angel in the Christmas play because of it. However, during the play, she sticks her finger in, and her finger gets stuck! No one can get it out. Not the teacher, or mum, or the doctor, or the police, or the conjurer, or the fire brigade. Henry says he can, but no one pays any attention. When the scientist fails, Henry is finally allowed to try. He tickles Nellie, and out pops the finger. Funny, anarchic humour as usual with Tony Ross.
