Little Frog and his mum live together and are very happy, so when mum asks if he would like a little brother or sister, he says, 'No, we're just fine as we are.' He is, then, none too pleased to see frog spawn in their pond, which all too soon turns into lots of little frogs. He is soon surrounded by siblings, all of whom want to follow him, and he can no longer play his favourite game of leap frog. Mum seems quite happy at this turn of events, but one night when the babies are asleep, Little Frog confesses he likes it when it's just the two of them together. Mum likes that too, but also suggests he might want to try playing with the babies. Next day he organises them to copy everything he does and finds it such fun that he is able to tell mum that he likes their big family 'fine as we are'. The pictures are a delight, full of white space and lots and lots of hopping frogs. Perhaps this would be most useful for a child faced with twin or triplet siblings.
