A well-constructed pop-up book with lots of specific information about what to expect at the doctor's surgery. There are tabs to pull as well, and it would make good preparation to use at home. Not good for the surgery as it would not last long. However, there is one problem: we are told that injections will not hurt. Telling children something that is untrue is bad practice. This would have to be addressed individually if the book is to be of use.
