Going to nursery ISBN: 9780434807482
Published by Egmont (My World series), 2001
Nita isn't happy about going to nursery. Her brother doesn't have to go; why should she? She takes her teddy for comfort, but it is some time before she is really enjoying herself. By the end, she doesn't want to go home. A realistic approach, but I did find the rhyming couplets that start suddenly in the middle of the book a little confusing. The warm and happy pictures show us all the usual nursery school activities. Nita is from a mixed race family.
