Charlie wants to take something special to school for Friday's show and tell time, but mum is so busy with new baby Sally that she can't help him. All week Charlie worries and becomes more and more resentful of Sally until one day she stops crying and smiles 'just for Charlie'. He then decides she will be his 'something special' and proudly shows her to his class. Charlie's family is black and other races are much in evidence. Large print and lovely pictures.
