There's a new baby in Baby Duck's family - a baby called Hot Stuff! Mr and Mrs Duck make a great fuss of the baby, and when Baby Duck shows off, they forget to look. When they take Baby and Hot Stuff to show Grandpa Duck, he is the one who understands that Baby Duck is finding it difficult not to be the only baby. He lets her decide about the jam for their sandwiches and tells her what a help she is - she is 'the boss'. Baby Duck learns she can show off for the baby and Hot Stuff likes it. Perhaps the baby can stay for a day or two! This lovely series with ducks as people, always features Grandpa as the catalyst who makes everything all right.
