Mother warns Frances to be careful when she plays with Thelma because Thelma always seems to come off best. A tricky sort of friend is Thelma. But Frances forgets and gets taken in again by Thelma in the matter of a tea set. She gets her own back though, and Thelma learns that being friends is more important than having to watch your back all the time. A reissue of a classic story, and Frances, the little hedgehog, has lost none of her charm.
