Older brother can do so many things that baby sister can't - get out of bed, use the potty, climb the stairs, etc. - and he glories in his grown-upness. But he also can do something special for the baby that even his parents can't always accomplish: he can stop her crying. This is an excellent story for recognising that toddlers have abilities that need praise. Bright, simple pictures.
