The little girl in this mixed race family is very interested in the size of the baby as it grows in mum's tummy. How big is the baby? - as big as a dot, as a peanut, as a dormouse, and, finally and inevitably, as big as an elephant. At each stage the little girl talks to the growing baby and wants to share a story or a game. In the end we see her greeting her new brother in hospital.
