George is a little black rabbit, who has human friends. He buys a key ring that he is so afraid of losing that he puts it in his mouth. The inevitable happens and he swallows it! Off to hospital in an ambulance, where an x-ray shows what has happened and an operation ensues. Mum and dad arrive with a present and all is well. The chalk illustrations are lovely - endearing, but the whole idea is rather bizarre. Could be useful for the very young who have swallowed something untoward.
