Daft Dog gets everything wrong. He puts on his clothes the wrong way around, he asks for the wrong things in the wrong shops. One day when he asks to change his library book in the opticians, the optician says, 'I can't change your book, but I can help you look', and he gives him a pair of glasses. Suddenly Daft Dog can see, and he doesn't mix things up anymore. He also becomes brilliant, reads lots of books and wins the Clever Clogs Dog Brain of the Year Show. Clever and funny with lots of repetition, it won't show children anything about eye tests, but will convince them that glasses are a good thing. Colourful, slightly wobbly pictures add to the fun.
