Moses is seven. He has spina bifida and other health problems and uses a wheelchair. He loves school and his friends there, and he enjoys playing with his babysitter Kate's two pet iguanas. When his teacher asks the class to write about a friend whom 'they know very well and like very much', Moses has to think long and hard. He wants to do something different. His choice is unusual: he writes about Zaki, one of Kate's iguanas, who has special needs because her toes are missing.
