Based on well-loved nursery rhymes, this charming story (also in rhyme) has Jiill running to find the doctor after Jack's fall. She encounters Miss Muffet, Jack Horner and the Queen's maid (without a nose) before finding Dr. Foster patching up Humpty Dumpty. Dr. Foster comes down with flu after his soaking, and all the other characters arrive to wish him well. Clever and original. Edwardian-style illustrations.
