Sam is excited about the beginning of the football season, but while he is shopping with his mum for new kit, he begins to feel ill. Mum takes him to see Dr Toby, who listens to his chest and can hear 'a lot of bubbly noises'. He shows Sam a picture of the lungs and explains about mucus. Then he gives mum a prescription for antibiotic syrup and recommends they use a humidifier. He also sends Sam for a chest x-ray. This procedure is shown too. Sam's x-ray is clear except for the mucus, and he is soon better and able to play football. The story is set in Australia.
