Annie the crocodile has been invited to Monkey's birthday party and mother crocodile warns her not to go 'snip- snapping all over the place. It's not nice.' But Annie takes advantage of her big sharp teeth and chases Parrot off the swing, Giraffe off the bike and causes mayhem at the party until Thud the elephant appears. Thud is the equal to Annie and he throws her out of the party (literally). Mother crocodile makes Annie go back and apologise for her behaviour, and Annie learns her lesson. Lots of good repetition and bright, expressive pictures make this a winner.
